These remarks were made during a media briefing with Argentinian president Milei, who was at the presidential residence following the disclosure of a massive rescue package for the Latin American country. At the conclusion of the event, a reporter inquired Trump about a latest unauthorized gathering in the city where law enforcement were assaulted and a cruiser was burned. The journalist also questioned if these incidents could lead to the revocation of organizing rights for the 48-team soccer tournament.

“It's possible to take them away,” the former president stated about the World Cup fixtures, scheduled to be held at Gillette Stadium. “She is poor … she’s extremist, and they’re dominating parts of downtown. It's a significant statement, isn't it?”

During the event, Trump’s response to a query about Boston included a similar threat regarding the LA Olympic event.

“When I perceived the city was failing to be prepared properly, I'd relocate it to an alternate venue if necessary,” he remarked. “On that one I may have to secure a different kind of approval, but we would take that action.”

Official consent Trump mentioned would need to come via the Olympic governing body. The president, the newly elected president, was elected to her post in March and has so far not appear together with the former president, although she stated that she would like a meeting with him at some point.

The former president also condemned Gavin Newsom’s handling of this year’s LA wildfires, stating that a similar situation could result in the relocation of the event.

“In case he is uncooperative, we are going to have to be very tough,” the former president stated.

The warning was just as unambiguous for the Massachusetts city.

“Boston should clean up their act,” he remarked. “That is I can say.”
